This modern 1-bedroom apartment is thoughtfully styled with soft tones, warm lighting, and all the essentials you need for a comfortable stay, whether you’re here for work, a short break, or something in between.

The space

Step into a bright open-plan space where you can relax on a plush sofa, stream your favourite shows on the Smart TV, or enjoy a meal at the compact dining table. The fully equipped kitchen comes with everything you need — oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, and utensils — perfect for anything from light breakfasts to simple dinners.

The bedroom is designed for restful nights, with a comfy double bed, fresh bedding, bedside storage, and neutral tones that help you unwind. The bathroom is fresh and modern, featuring a walk-in shower, fluffy towels, toiletries, and a hairdryer to make getting ready a breeze.

The neighbourhood

Kelham Chapel is nestled in the heart of Kelham Island, Sheffield’s most characterful and creative neighbourhood. Once home to the city’s steelworks, Kelham has transformed into a buzzing urban village where industrial heritage meets modern living. Think cobbled lanes lined with converted factories, quirky galleries, microbreweries, indie coffee shops, and award-winning restaurants — all right on your doorstep.

It’s the kind of place where you can grab brunch at a riverside café in the morning, explore vintage markets in the afternoon, and finish the day with craft cocktails or a locally brewed pint at one of the area’s many unique pubs. The vibe is effortlessly cool yet laid-back, with a strong sense of community and culture.

Despite its lively spirit, the area still offers quiet corners and scenic walking routes along the River Don. It’s no surprise Kelham Island regularly tops lists of the best places to live in the UK. And if you want to venture further, the city centre is just a 10-minute stroll or a few stops on the tram, making this the perfect base for business, leisure, or a bit of both.

House rules

I will require ID from the primary guest. I might require a £100 refundable house rules fee before check-in. This is refunded after post-checkout inspection and subject to compliance to house rules: no smoking policy, no unauthorised extra guests, no noise/loud music during quiet times 8 pm - 8 am, no parties.

Guest access

Guests have full, private access to the entire apartment — no shared spaces here. Enjoy the ease of self check-in, fast Wi-Fi, fresh towels, an iron, and everything else you need to feel right at home.

Interaction with guests

I provide a 24-hour self-check-in service. A code will be provided for the key lock, and thereafter, I can be reached via message or phone calls in emergencies.

Other things to note

We offer a range of extras to make your stay even easier: Early check-in/Late check-out (£10/hr), pet cleaning fee (£20), travel cot hire (£20), mid-stay cleaning (£35), and extra linen/towels (£10). Need groceries pre-stocked or luggage storage? Just let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to arrange it.
